A nation is made by people, and not states and territories. Ideas of happiness, compassion and etc amalgamate to create people. A country is known for the General environment and happiness status, not for its geography.

If the people aren’t happy, if the people are divided, then no matter what vast heritage the country has or achievements it has in fields of science, literature or whatever, that country can neither develop nor be called a successful nation. Forget being a democracy.

Democracy– what does that mean, it means that the government is of the people, by the people and for people. It thus, reflects the idea of seeing a country as a family, where every member is united to and firmly determined to love each other. There are not supposed to be any strangers but just friends we haven’t met yet.

Not that India, ever was so idealistic and passionate about its ethos, but the very intensity of intolerance in India today is not only a matter of disgrace but extremely shameful.

One of the very reasons, India is becoming more and more intolerant is due to religion.

If you end up hating your own people in the name of national interest & religion then that’s certainly not patriotism.The hindutva nationalism is basically the power of hunger tempered by self deception,as a result of collective narcissism.

It’s time we understand that there’s nothing called a religion. Being a hindu or a Muslim, or even an atheist has nothing to do we human obligations. It’s a choice that we make, to either surround ourselves with unnecessary illusions or question the supremacy.
Something that divides, has to be created by us.

What’s the religion of an orphan? Ever wondered? Or even an animal?
Religion is based on the name of God, which is again a choice to believe or not.
So on the basis of what theory, are we classifying humans on?

People often demoralize atheists stating that they cannot afford to be an atheist without insulting religion.
I mean they don’t insult religion, but believes. And questioning religion or insulting it ,is nothing wrong.

We really need to understand that God is infinite. And you can’t limit his existence within a temple or mosque. And certainly not within the spectrum of a community.

We tend to forget that we all are and were humans under the shelter of earth. And the colour of our blood is same. Those religious extremists who go against this idea are nothing more than human traffickers. India is not India anymore and humans are humans anymore. Humanity has fragmented between narrow domestic walls in India which was ideally beyond the demographics.

Lastly, there hasn’t been more bloodshed in anything than the name of God and fictional religion. The joke is upon us.

Delhi Mosque Demolitions – India’s Religious Paranoia

If there is a sudden emergence in the country out of nowhere, it’s then created. Fear is better created than it naturally occurs. Fear is the most powerful weapon to silent mankind, leading them to the path of ignorance. The delhi riots was a selective genocide. It’s was pogrom. A pogrom is a state sponsored persecution of a particular community. And the same thing happened in Delhi.

From being a anti caa vs pro caa riot to a complete communal riot, here’s how it went. Streets were littered with scraps of bricks; black smoke from fires had filled up the sky. Every couple of minutes, there was a cry from somewhere. Stones were hurled and, often, people emerged out of crowds with an injured, bleeding head. Throughout all of this, men and women patrolled, with sticks in their hands, threatening to beat up journalists, outsiders, and anyone who dared to shoot a photograph or a video. Outnumbered, the stick-wielding, helmet-wearing police stood on one side of the road. Amidst of all this ruckus, fourteen Delhi mosques and a dargah was burnt by Hindutva vigilantes in three days.

It is a kind of politics going in India today, that denies democracy’s ideal of equality for citizens but in by historical inequality, abandoning them to the neoliberal remedy of social darwinist struggle for survival in a borderless world. Populism latches on to the politics of winners and losers to mobilize psychically potent resentments and anger against the “outsiders” responsible for the pain of the “people”. And for that mosques were burnt down.

Opportunistic leaders exploit the powerlessness experienced in a world that is increasing the globalised and is dominated by the bureaucratic state and multinational capital. They are quick to redirect the frustration with the dissolution of community life into anger in at those seen responsible for the suffering. Predictably, the scapegoats are the minorities community. Deemed as threat to the very existence of the nation and the community, they become targets of the majoritarian desire to inflict pain to avent their projected grief. The spectacle of angry victors theoretically mocking and taking sadistic pleasure in the plight of the defeated “alien” tormentors is all too visible globally. I wonder if burning mosques would help escape the “alien invasion” if I say so.

But, who is to decide who is an alien or an outsider, our own people are no longer ours, many of them have auctioned themselves to the fascist government in the garb majoritarian masquerade. And this pseudo alien narrative doesn’t even have any conclusive boundaries to begin with, and even if you think it has, then been a part of a republican democracy, you are just another contributer to fascist ideology.

This is govt is fundamentally inhumane and Islamophobic. Driven by the drunken dilemma of half baked nationalism amidst it’s sadomasochism, it wants destroy everyone who disagrees with them or is different in religion or Caste or creed.This is the plain yet ironic truth.

God can’t be so insecure abt his identity, that he will need you to burn mosques for him.

The controversial move to withdraw Kashmir’s special legal status fulfilled a longstanding goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist party to yoke the disputed northern territory more closely to the rest of India.

Kashmir was likely to be rooted ultimately, but manner in which it got eradicated especially after illegitimate house arrest and violence, questions a lot about the supposed democracy of India. Kashmir should have been made developed so that the kashmiris consider living in India as literally beneficial and eventually the existence of this bill would have been made primitive.

Although the ban on postpaid mobile network was lifted after over two months on October 14, prepaid phones, SMS and internet services remain banned for more than four months and counting.

The communication blackout created an information black hole in Kashmir. The local press bore the brunt of the blockade. It’s functioning was crippled. Its coverage of how the clampdown affected people’s lives was severely curtailed or suppressed.

After August 5, all prominent local dailies started publishing fewer print copies, with barely four to eight pages. Distribution was also limited due to the shutdown and restrictions imposed by the government. The ban on landline telephones, which was lifted in phases only after a month or so, and mobile telephony, including leased line and broadband internet connections at local newspaper offices, further curbed news gathering activities. Flow of information from the districts was choked as editors and their correspondents were cut-off form each other.

In the initial weeks of the clampdown and restrictions imposed after the revocation of Article 370, publication of local newspapers had to be suspended for several days. None of the prominent English and Urdu dailies of Kashmir could publish for five days from August 12.

What got published in prominent local English dailies was a reflection of the censorship and government pressure on the press. For example, Greater Kashmir, the largest circulated daily published from Kashmir, avoided publishing editorials on the emerging situation for months after August 5 when the government revoked the special status and bifurcated the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union Territories. There was little or no coverage of how people suffered in the weeks after the communication blockade and clampdown was imposed. Its edit page did not carry opinion pieces on the situation in Kashmir post-August 5. In fact, the paper was published without an editorial page for several days.

Since then Greater Kashmir has not published a single opinion piece in its edit page on the revocation of Article 370 and the subsequent clampdown in the valley. The only opinion piece it did publish, in the third week of the clampdown, argued, curiously, in favor of the revocation of the special status.

Apart from that day, leading articles, columns and editorials steered clear of commenting on the clampdown and the humanitarian crisis in the valley because of the communications shutdown. Instead it wrote and commented on “The Subtle Secrets of Nature (August 9), “Vistas’s of Botox Therapy in Medicine (August 17), “Macbeth and the Moral Universe (August 22), and “Poetry and Journalism” (August 23).

The authorities also snapped the broadband internet connection at Kashmir Press Club on August 5. This move meant that the over 200 club members belonging to the local journalists’ fraternity could not file their reports.

Later, limited internet facility was provided at a makeshift media centre set up by the government information department in a Srinagar hotel. The media centre was then moved to two small rooms of the information department where hundreds of journalists had to jostle for space to get a few minutes of internet access.

Internet facilities remain inadequate for hundreds of journalists and district reporters who can’t make it to the centre every day.

On the night of August 14, Irfan Malik, a reporter with Greater Kashmir, was picked up by police from his home in South Kashmir’s Tral district and locked up in a local police station. After his arrest created a furore, he was released on August 17. No reason was given for his arrest.

A few months ago, senior journalist and editor of an Urdu newspaper Ghulam Jeelani Qadri (62) was detained by police after he was picked up from his residence in Srinagar soon after he’d returned from office in the evening. Qadri was arrested in connection with a case dating back to 1992. He was released on bail the next day following a court appearance.

As many as 396 people have been detained in Kashmir under the Public Safety Act (PSA) since the scrapping of the erstwhile state’s special status on August 5 last year, the Union home ministry told Parliament on Wednesday.

These 396 people are among the 451 people in detention in the Valley, according to the ministry.

Junior home minister G. Kishan Reddy informed the Rajya Sabha that among those who have been booked under the PSA, a stringent law that allows for detention without trial for up to two years, are former chief ministers Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.

Reddy said 7,357 people, including stone pelters, miscreants, overground workers and separatists, had been taken into preventive custody after August 5.

“The government of J&K has reported that in order to prevent commission of offences involving breach of peace and tranquility, activities prejudicial to the security of the state and maintenance of public order, cumulatively 7,357 persons including stone pelters, miscreants, overground workers, separatists, etc were taken into preventive custody since August 2019,” the minister said.

“Out of these 451 such persons are presently under prevention detention, which includes 396 persons under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).”

Omar’s sister Sara Abdullah Pilot has moved the Supreme Court challenging the leader’s detention under the PSA as being “arbitrary”, “unconstitutional” and “actuated by malice”.

One of the charges cited to invoke the PSA against Omar and Mehbooba is their capacity to convince the “electorate to come out and vote in huge numbers even during the peak of militancy and poll boycotts”, sources in the home ministry said.

The world will not care about what India does in Kashmir. That seemed to be the key assumption of the Narendra Modi government (and its supporters) when it set out to change Kashmir’s special status and impose a communications blockade on the Valley. No aspect of daily life remains unaffected.

The populism latching on to the politics of winners and losers is to mobilize psychically potent resentments & anger against the “outsiders” responsible for the pain of the “people”.While, the true terrorists of democracy are the ones heading the country. People are of the opinion this was a revenge for what happened with the kashmiri pandits, but no, this was just a state sponsored persecution of the idea of India, just to establish the real intensity of the authority the government of India holds.

We fear being injured, robbed or attacked, being judged by others, or neglected, or left unloved. As expected, after the riots some politicians came up saying that Muslims deserved this or this is done to protect the sentiments of Hindus.

Yogi adityanath even said, that Delhi deserved this because they rejected bjp. They will have to face the consequences of rejecting bjp.

If after spending 500 years under the mughals, 200 years under British, and 70 yrs of Indian independence under a democratic and secular constitution, ur religion feels threatened, then please convert / live ur religion!

I recently came across, a video in social media, where Hindus were blessing their kids by making them sit upon cow dung and singing songs. Religion kills knowledge. It destroys the ability to think and question hypocrisy. In the drunken dilemma of religious extremism, this is what happens.
Sh*t is never holy, but certainly this skanky believes are.
And am sure God didn’t give a free license to sell of souls.

Neither do you need to be religious to believe in God nor sitting in a temple can make you a hindu.

A mob chased three members of the minority community — a boy who appeared to be a teenager, a middle-aged man, an older man. They not only punched and slapped the trio but also attacked them with sticks.
When the teenager tried to flee the spot, they dragged and thrashed him when the old man tried to save him. The boy then managed to run away after which the mob roughed up the old man. A few minutes later, they let him go. The middle-aged man, in an attempt to run away from the spot, injured himself.

3)A mini truck, driven by a member of a minority community, which was coming towards the 5th Pushta Road was stopped by a mob. The mob caught hold of the driver while he was trying to jump a divider and roughed him up. On seeing this, another set of people came to the spot and started beating the driver while chanting “Jai Shri Ram”. One of them said: “Maaro saale ko [thrash him]”. The vandalised vehicle was seen lying on the side of the road.

4) A mini truck driven by a member of a minority community carrying nearly 10 persons was stopped by a mob. As they started attacking the occupants, some of them tried to jump over the truck and run to the fields on the other side of the road but a part of the crowd caught hold of some of them and thrashed them mercilessly. A person started bleeding and subsequently ran away. This vehicle too stood vandalised.

5) As the melee raged, a middle-aged woman who was de-boarding an autorickshaw near Khajuri Khas junction, asked a reporter: “Should I remove my burqa and cross the road?” She then removed the black veil and walked on.

6) Houses in Chand Bagh were surrounded by armed right wing goons right now. They tried to enter the houses under cover of tear gas. Men outside tried to keep them out, there were only women inside. Sexual violence was committed on these women. Police were not responsive to emergency calls from them. Lawyers were unable to reach out because mobs surrounded the area.

7) At Maujpur, 53-year-old Rajesh Bhasin had just returned from the hospital after getting his head injury bandaged. Bhasin, who runs a confectionery business, said that they were tired of the protests and the road blockades across Delhi—in Shaheen Bagh, Jaffrabad, and other areas—and decided to protest against them. “We were chanting Jai Shri Ram, Bharat Mata ki Jai slogans when a mob came with swords and attacked us,” he said.

8) Tayaab Ansari, a native of Bihar, who lives in the Gonda Chowk area of Delhi, hasn’t gone back home in the last three days. On Sunday, he left home to get his eyes tested at Shastri Hospital in north-west Delhi. When he came back, the violence had escalated so much that, he said, there was no way he could cross the Hindu-dominated neighbourhood of Maujpur to get back home. “I need medicines, I am in pain. I need to go home,” he said. Neither Tayaab nor his family, who had been in touch with him only through phone calls, had got any sleep.

9) The sleepless protesters at Jaffrabad were disappointed at the media for branding them “rioters”. One of them scrolled down his phone gallery to show video footage from that area. “Look, the police is with them! They helped them bring those bricks.” One of the protesters then got a call from a Muslim friend who stays in the Hindu neighbourhood. “A mob has surrounded his house. How do we help him get out of there?” Another resident responded, “We can’t do anything. We can’t even go there. They will beat us up.” Another assured, “The Hindus in the neighbourhood will save him. He is a good man.”

10) As graphic images of crowds of men rioting in the national capital lit up social media platforms this week, one particular clip stood out: A shaky cellphone video of a man planting a saffron flag atop the minaret of a mosque in Ashok Nagar, a neighbourhood in northeast Delhi.
Further, Masjid Maula Baksh mosque in Ashok Nagar, Chand mosque in Ashok Nagar, Arabia Madinatul Uloom mosque in Golakpuri, and the mazaar in Chand Bagh were burnt down.

11) Mohammed Akbar Qureshi was barricaded in his home with his family when a gang of men kicked down his door and flung in a burning jute sack at about three in the afternoon. Ashok Nagar, where Qureshi lives, is just over two kilometers from Gokulpuri.

12) It was just four months ago that 20-year-old Shazia came to Delhi to marry her “doting husband” Shahid. Now, two-month pregnant Shazia waits for her husband’s body, which will be taken to their native town, Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. But his dead body returned instead, with blood besprent all over his body. She continues to stare at the green bangles Shahid brought for her Sunday, a day before he was killed, and bursts into loud cries every few minutes. “What will I do now? What will I do with this child?”

13) Mubarak Hussain’s blood-smeared body was lying on the streets of Babarpur’s Vijay Park colony for at least three hours after he was shot dead in the violence. They made 100 calls to the police. But forget about the police, even an ambulance didn’t come. Originally from Bihar’s Darbhanga, Mubarak was a labourer who had been living in Delhi for the last 10 years.

14) Nazeem, a 35-year-old, has left behind six children and a wife. Here’s what his wife said, “Uska kabadi ka kaam tha… Kabhi itne paise hi nahi the ki pradarshan mein hissa lene ka waqt milta (He used to pick up garbage… He didn’t have enough money to take part in any protests),” he said. “Woh toh ration lene gaya tha (He had gone to fetch ration).”

15) A Delhi Police constable has been killed, as has an Intelligence Bureau official. The 48 dead (so far) include people from both religions — but more Muslims. When mass violence is provoked against a community, the community strikes back in defence. That’s how it becomes a riot, spun as an ‘equal fight’ between two sides. Both are then blamed. But the truth is that it is primarily Muslims who have been targeted, Muslim shops burnt, a cemetery desecrated, a mosque taken over, pages of the Quran burnt, and so on.

They didn’t burn books. They burned knowledge.

16) When curfew was announced, schools were closed down. But some got destroyed even.

The story of India – the paralyzed tryst

India was left orphan, when the britishers left. The constitution makers adopted her, the congress nurtured her and the civilians worked 24*7 to give her an identity. Besides development, she even saw the emergency. She survived the abuse, & she was ready to survive the recovery.

India then saw IT Revolution, Green Revolution and etc;. India, then a teenager got voting rights. India after getting the bitter taste of coalition and bjp govts, fell into hands of UPA and Economist Manmohan Singh. It was all set to be the global champion and the future way.

But, all didn’t go well for India. UPA II’s failures and the emergence of new white beard nationalist hero, insisted India to go for the NDA. Labyrinths were set, but India just like any other adolescent fell in love. It developed a crush upon attractive elements of fascism.

India then had a series of heartbreaks, demonitisation, GST, made her lose all the little faith that she had left. She realized that she was cheated. But, it was too late. By then all institutions were captured, media was like a naked parrot and there came an era of darkness.

India broke down when she saw, mob lynching, rapes, recession and what not. The opposition was it’s 3am friend, but it too wasn’t successful to protect it. India then was illegally by the EVM machinery taken into the hands of bjp. Modi then proposed her with Article 370.

India saw her kashmir get destroyed, but she was helpless. Before she could even cope up with it, she was gifted the Ayodhya Judgement, leaving her faith in judiciary to completely destroy.
India was angry, despaired and waiting for an opportunity to speak. To stand for herself.

Modishah gifted her CAA then, combined with NRC and NPR.
This time she rejected it. She stood up & spoke up for herself, some time in thousands & some time in lakhs, in streets, in universities everywhere across the country. Anger of 6 yrs got reciprocated by her fearless avatar.

She fought back. She fought back for democracy and her survival. She led to the Shaheen Bagh revolution, discrediting bjp’s regular misogyny.

Modi and shah are still trying to silent her, but now she won’t. She is in her indomitable spirit. She will speak.

70 years past, ever since she has got independence from the britishers . But, she is still young. She is still a nation of young civilians.
She never saw long term unity and peace. Instead, she saw riots, temple demolitions, betrayals, and rapes after rapes. She suffered a lot.

She knows what sufferings mean. She knows what being touched without her consent means. She knows what exploitation means.
She was attempted to be killed, but she didn’t die, because her soul was always young and fruitful with her heart being full of love and generosity.

Her wounds are becoming incurable, she is in a stage of cancer. But she thinks she will survive, because the battle after 2024 is the biggest battle. The battle to regenerate her cells as modi being gone would be a savior but the beginning of a new challenge as well.

With this note, let us wait and see if she survives and becomes that lady again who was once full set to be the global icon for progress & development.Insisting the values of kindness, generosity & compassion are the various hues of her dreams. Let’s see if her dreams come true.

The Death Of Indian Democracy.

India. It’s not just a 5 letter word or name of a nation that’s limited to geographical demographics alone. It is an idea. An idea of peace, tolerance, humility, love, brotherhood, integrity, equality and liberty. It is this amalgamation of qualities that makes us an Indian perhaps a human being. It is WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, that need to have these ideas inscribed within us, to make the world a better place. Not for competition or validation but for the betterment of humanity India needed to develop. And the only way India could develop was by these ideas inscribed within us. We had got the privilege of getting a parliamentary democracy. We are the largest democracy in the world.
But we lost all. Today, I write this blog to make ourselves reconscious regarding what’s happening in India today and why we need to speak up.

The populist politics of ressentiment has convulsed the world. In India the Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party devised a clever electoral campaign that used the “development” slogan while stoking Hindu majority resentment against minorities to right to power in 2014. We have witnessed anti immigrant and Islamophobic sentiments whipped up in the successful brexit campaign and Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 us presidential election across Europe a rolling backlash against refugees has reshaped the political landscape.

Our autocratic rulers incite pent up anger and a sense of humiliation to fuel right wing nationalist insurgencies against groups depicted as enemies of “the people” to shore up the authoritarian power and suppress dissent. To turn the current political landscape is related to shifts associated with neoliberal capitalism. It’s increasing global and unregulated operation since the 1970 has widened the gap between the rich and the poor, devastated local communities, and led to the world economic crisis of 2008 to 2009 that devastated lives. Neoliberalism has not only dislocated economics and societies but also invaded all aspects of life. It’s elevation of the market principle and competition as the governing rationality economizes everything. It displaces citizenship and the common good as the concern of politics and disclosures equality as the essence of democracy is norm of self rule. With competition privileged as the dominant value in all domains of life by neoliberalism, the tide of old racist sentiments, ethnic solidarity, and hatred for immigrants and minorities has swept politics around the globe. This right wing populism has invigorated in recent years. It is a kind of politics that denies democracy’s ideal of equality for citizens but in by historical inequality, abandoning them to the neoliberal remedy of social darwinist struggle for survival in a borderless world. Populism latches on to the politics of winners and losers to mobilize psychically potent resentments and anger against the “outsiders” responsible for the pain of the “people”. Opportunistic leaders exploit the powerlessness experienced in a world that is increasing the globalised and is dominated by the bureaucratic state and multinational capital. They are quick to redirect the frustration with the dissolution of community life into anger in at those seen responsible for the suffering. Predictably, the scapegoats are the minorities and migrants community. Deemed as threat to the very existence of the nation and the community, they become targets of the majoritarian desire to inflict pain to avent their projected grief. The spectacle of angry victors theoretically mocking and taking sadistic pleasure in the plight of the defeated “alien” tormentors is all too visible globally. Having sold their souls to neoliberalism, the traditional political parties and elites stand defenseless before the populist surge of resentment, left to mouth the liberal pieties of tolerance and multiculturalism.

The resounding electoral victory invoice generated the majoritarian ideology of Hindu Supremacy, or hindutva, which now threatens to tear apart India’s secular fabric. Physical attacks on minorities, the targeting of dissent as antinational and the lynching of muslims suspected of trading and consuming beef by cow protection goon squads have become all too frequent. Hindutva ideologies dismiss those protesting the lynchings as elites whose “rootless cosmopolitanism” is out of the step with the support culture of popular Hinduism. They label critics as enemies of national unity and development that are desired by the majority.

The parallel between Donald Trump and Narendra Modi’s India is striking. Both are characterized by populist mobilizations directed against the minorities, summoned to bolster authoritarian claims to power. But there is a crucial difference there’s nothing India like the organic resistance in the United States to Trump’s racist agenda. The reasons are not far to seek. No history of civil rights battles stands behind the granting of equal rights to minorities in postcolonial India. Instead, it was the nationalist struggle against British rule that produce a secular and democratic constitution. But, with nationalism now hijacked by Hindu majoritarianism, the defense of minority rights can summon no history of popular struggle on his behalf. The law and institutions have also failed to push back.

It is no wonder that the emergency is remembered emotively in India. But it’s onset is also seen as a irruption of authoritarian darkness and gloom.

Authoritarian and insecure by nature, Mr Modi is responding to the political dissent with paranoia, by playing fast and loose which constitutional and political protocols, and by relying on an ever-changing coterie of supporters and advisors to concentrate power.

The constitutional amendments which were passed by the parliament are to dress fascist rule in a legal disguise. Such a regime is not purely juridical, for the deployment of extraordinary decrees and laws which cannot be understood in strictly legal terms.

Do you know what BR Ambedkar believed in he believed that the Gandhian Satyagraha or non-Cooperation- the “anarchy” of street protests as opposed to the order of institutions- was justified when India was under colonial despotism but not after it had adopted constitutional democracy. His view that protests and non cooperation were unnecessary after Indians had gained the freedom to elect their government calls to mind two ends of the spectrum in thinking about democracy. At one end is the idea identifying popular sovereignty with the elected government and its constitutional forms, leaving no venue to voice the passions and antagonisms of society outside of the institutions.

The dissatisfaction with this procedural model of democracy, of politics-as-administration, is evident, for example, in the resentment in Europe against the power of the EU bureaucracy. At the other end of spectrum, the demand for full expression of popular will in state power rejects the mediating role of political parties, trade unions, institutions, and the press in representing the aspirations of different groups of the population.

A homogeneous body of “the people” demands nothing less than its total and unmediated presence in the power that rules over them. Modi appears, claiming to embody “the people” and justifying authoritarian attacks on recalcitrant institutions and dissent in the name of popular will. At this extreme end of the spectrum, the claim for the direct expression of popular sovereignty conjoins populism with authoritarianism.

Popular activism arises in the tension between these two ends of politics, demanding that the formal institutions of democracy– the elected government, law and the judiciary, press and the public sphere- respond to the people’s voice.

The constitution provided for elections judicial independence, press freedom, and fundamental rights as the cornerstones of democracy but these fundamental rights existing in the society; are in the forms of substantive function in democratic institutions.

The present government is using the crisis of governance by building a Hindu nation with the recent driven majoritarian politics that uses the minorities to a second class citizens also and ethical democracy is a neoliberal market-based ideology that treats the market as the underlying principle of ignorance.

Democracy in India today has been completely destroyed by rampant fascism.Indian politics cardeur has no where to go beyond the road of tyranny. Kya constitution?Lets have a political journal with portfolio investments.Lets have business tycoons as PM’s. Shamelessness is masterstroke in New India.

What sort of ‘democracy’ is it where the govt and the party in power targets citizens for having a different view?
If one glories in the world’s largest democracy tag it’s totalitarian disintergrity & disrespect of freedom of expression comes in mind. Election is a mere ritual.

People call modi a democratically elected Prime Minister. However, majoritarian support dosen’t necessarily ceases constitutional molarity. Similarly, bjp’s electoral victory can’t justify toxic communalism and hindutva. The hindutva nationalism is basically tempered by self deception, as a result of collective narcissism.

Currently the political culture bore the full brunt of the consequences of democracy’s bargain with Indian society’s deep inequality. The rituals of feudal prostration demanded by the elite transmogrified into showy performances of political fealty to the powerful. It is all an act. Yesterday’s followers pledging undying loyality could turn into today’s dissidents on a dime. The fluidity of power has opened the sluice gates for ambitious “fixers” who rushed in to manage contracts and licences and become a conduit for raising party funds.

When we were enslaved under the British we could imagine freedom, but now that we are free, how will be imagine subjection but the question is are we really free? The value of the postcolonial freedom was brought with millions of slaughtered and uprooted lives.
Could such freedom magically eradicate subjection when it was itself slave to religious fanaticism and barbarism.

The Indian leaders had penned their vision of freedom in the constitution of India which provided a state that would act with extraordinary power to guarantee the state freedom and introduce social change. This wasn’t because they were authoritarian at heart. In the anti colonial struggle a strong commitment to civil liberties was produced. It is why the nationalist elite endowed Indian citizens with fundamental rights. Democracy permitted the expression of different views and creeds. But what if people cared more for their narrow minded thoughts rather than general interest? After all, this had happened before.

You might be thinking now that until when will history repeat itself in a negative way, when will that day come when all of us will ignite ourself with the realms democratic decent. Ambedkar had one said that how can people divided into several thousands of castes be a nation? What India needed was a thorough social transformation, a removal of inequality. And our politicians today have taken the advantage of this loophole because democracy in India is only a top dressing on an Indian soil, which is essentially undemocratic.

A hierarchy ridden society cannot be the source of constitutional morality. Nor can the legislature be entrusted with devising constitutional forms of governance, for it may enact undemocratic laws in name of popular sovereignty. Constitutional norms therefore had to be inserted into the constitution itself. If this meant an extensive borrowing from the colonial 1935 Act so be it. Implicit in Ambedkar view, was the project for a powerful pedagogic state, tutoring India in constitutional morality, freeing it from inherited burdens of history and ushering in social change.

The consequence of this idea was that the constitution of India spoke in two voices –that of the sovereign people and that of the administrative the first thought to passion a constitutional path for social transformation. The administrator on the other hand, harked back to colonialism; it spoke in a language that was marked by anxiety, one that arose out of the unknowability and the potential dangers posed by that vast alien population it was called on to govern.

The very plan of constitutional transformation required a powerful administrator, one that would limit protests and agitations within constitutional boundaries and subject it to the demands of law and order. This was to be accomplished by restrictions on Fundamental rights, ommision of due process and emergency provision. Together the two voices would secure equilibrium between the constitutional rights of democracy and State Power to administer social change and law and order.

It was all a fine balance but it became undone in 1975 as well as 2014 however, 1975 emergency was curable but 2014 emergency seems incurable. To supposedly protect the state from internal disturbance and accomplish progressive social change, Modi used laws to suspend constitutional rights. Emergency provisions have came into force even though in an unofficial form, certainly the unbalancing of the Constitution equilibrium was sometime in the making.

In framing the Indian constitution the lawmakers at a dream that adult suffrage, fundamental rights and social policies outlined in the directive principles would keep politics off the streets and in the institutions this was not to be. 50 years from now will be just for our actions and will be asked that why didn’t we speak up when the country was in a state of fascism of autocracy and certainly inhumanity.

This republic day, pledge to speak up. Shed your ignorance. Question the government. Demand answers. Revolution needs to come. Maybe that’s from you. This is about the destiny of this great nation, where, you are also included. Freedom from fear is the freedom you must claim for your motherland. Remember, one thing, all battles aren’t fought for winning but to establish the fact that someone fought while others refused to. I know in India at present having a spine comes with a price to pay but a spineless existence is equal to a dead body. When injustice becomes law resistance becomes our duty.

With a leader like modi at the helm of Indian democracy, my last words belong to BR Ambedkar, speaking at the concluding session of the constituent assembly on November 24th, 1949, the dalit lawmaker invoked John Stuart mill to warn the citizens against placing their liberties at the feet of a great leader. Indians, he said, were particularly susceptible to bhakti or devotion. This was fine in religion but in politics it is a sure road to degradation and eventual dictatorship.

The apolitically privileged class of India

That the India is swaying in waves of dissent,
That the principles of equality, freedom & fraternity have not perished. That the dream of Ambedkar is not lost to Hindutva promise That is the glory of this moment..
Into that heaven of freedom India awakes..

However, this battle has a long way to go. Many people around us STILL claim to be apolitical. If you ask them about their views on politics, you’ll hear statements which are synonymous to, “I don’t like politics”, “Indian politics is a mess, don’t want to be a part of it” or “Why should I care?”. But the moment they cross a dirty street they will complain about the garbage on the road, they see a beggar and they will question the existence of poverty, they hear about violence and they will tweet, condemning it, sitting in their comfortable homes, where there is fresh water 24×7, there is electricity throughout the year and all the amenities that one can think of.

Being political does not mean that you have to be pro-government or anti-government, being political just requires you to take a stand, whatever it may be, take a stand, there are real issues that require people to talk about it, to have an opinion.

Being apolitical is a privilege, specifically a class privilege. Not everyone has this privilege, the privilege of being disengaged, the privilege of being lackadaisical.

Yes, voting for a party (or not) is definitely a political act and an act of responsibility, after the 2014 elections there has been a major political awakening in India but it should not take an election or a socio-economic tremor to wake people up from their so-called ‘apolitical trance’.

People tend to think of their choices in a small and narrow ecosystem which just consists of them and their close ones in a small bubble. But you are a part of a larger system where the services you avail are indeed an outcome of a political arrangement, they have not appeared magically out of anywhere.

Given that every single decision of yours is inevitably political and has political consequences, is calling oneself apolitical logical at all?

You may not be on the roads, sitting for dharnas and protesting against any kind of injustice but you are a political being, born into a system where every act of yours political. You are either actively political or passively but being apolitical is not a choice nor is it a possibility.

In such a situation is it not better to take advantage of the political person within you to actively speak out, to engage, to learn and most importantly have an opinion?

It is not a proletariat characteristic to be political, it is a human one. The elite may not be at the core of issues or at the brunt of things but living in a fool’s paradise of apoliticism and still making political choices unconsciously has an impact on the political society one lives in and that is something to be taken care of.

If nothing, then we owe it to the men and women who sacrificed their lives fighting for this country in a hope that the youth would carry their legacy, that each one would be political, fearlessly and unapologetically, that each would take a stand and fight for what one believes in for the country. Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of your mind.

One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that u end up being governed by your inferiors.

I mean I often wonder what more fascist consequences are they waiting for to break their submissive attitudes. Are we serious? No matter whatever political opinions we have about the causes behind the destruction in India today, at the end of the day, besides a strong political opposition it is the public outrage which is needed. But, we have forgotten, that the preamble stated “We The People Of India.”

Fascist governments are not afraid of opposition , even if it is strong (hypothetical situation) , they are afraid of public outrage. But an average common Indian’s political discussion starts and ends within the close doors of timid society. We seriously need to break this barriers. From little infractions like the breaking queues, petty bribes, to larger crimes such as corruption, political vendetta, bribing for votes, everything could be explained away by two words (chalta Hain) & a shrug of the shoulder. But now this is the question of democracy! Wake up! This is the question of India’s foundational philosophy of love perhaps our tryst with destiny which is being eradicated from root.

It’s basically like the battle of kurekshetra. If we still continue this chalta hain attitude, then let’s not call ourselves a democracy any longer. Justice, Equality, Liberty and Fraternity was meant for the civilians not for sheeplians. Ironically, an obvious lesson which should have been there within us by default has to be taught. India today is ravaged not bcz of the violence of tyrants but for the silence of commoners.

Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy is not a PM, ruling party & gov. officials, but the voters of this country. If we forget it, then the dystopian future of India will await us with more surprises.

If we desire a society of peace, then we can’t achieve such a society through violence or a society without discrimination, then we can’t discriminate against anyone in the process of building this society. In a democratic society, democracy must become a means as well as an end. And for this to happen, where you see wrong or inequality or injustice, speak out, because this is your country.

This is your democracy. Make it. Protect it. Pass it on. In this process of being self centered & timid aren’t we contributing a wrong message to the next generation?

The ignorance of the Indian elite in matters of politics have resulted in the smooth functioning of the Modi regime Whatsapp machinery. Ignorance to speak up, question & know the truth, is the fundamental cause behind their nationalism being above dissent. Hitler rose to power because of public support. Fascism establishes by public support. And silence is support as well.

Reality of Sorrywarkar – The Man Behind Two Nation Theory

While, the country is engaged with the ruckus that the Citizenship Amendment bill has created and mr.modi and Amit Shah are in a quest to see whose the bigger liar, the country is currently heading towards on more partition.

Decades ago, the country was assaulted by the calamitous two nation theory. It was infamous mercy petitioner Savarkar who had proposed the idea of two nation theory.

In fact, Dr BR Ambedkar had said that both Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Muhammad Ali Jinnah were in complete agreement about two separate nations in India—one the Muslim nation and the other the Hindu nation. Ambedkar agonized by the evil designs of Savarkar regarding the Two-nation theory and Hindutva rhetoric over it, wrote, as early as 1940, that,

“Hindu nation will be enabled to occupy a predominant position that is due to it and the Muslim nation made to live in the position of subordinate co-operation with the Hindu nation”.

The Hindu Mahasabha leader Lala Lajpat Rai wrote in The Tribune of December 14, 1924: “It should be distinctly understood that this is not a united India. It means a clear partition of India into a Muslim India and a non-Mulsim India.”

The historians of the Hindu Right, R.C. Majumdar and A.K. Majumdar, refer in Struggle for Freedom (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan; 1969; page 611) “to one factor which was responsible to a very large extent for the emergence of the idea of Partition of India on communal lines. This was the Hindu Mahasabha.”

Meanwhile, the Muslim Right had begun to play with the Partition idea since Iqbal’s famous address to the League session in 1931. But his group of Muslim provinces was confined to western India as a member of the Indian Union. Jinnah did not subscribe to such schemes. He was a belated convert and for tactical reasons.

Long before V. D. Savarkar (1883-1966) and M. S. Golwalkar (1906-73), who laid down elaborate theories of Hindu Rashtra allowing no place for minorities, it was Bhai Parmanand who declared in the beginning of the twentieth century that followers of Hinduism and Islam in India were two different peoples because Muslims followed a religion which originated in Arab lands. Parmanand specialized in writing popular literature in Urdu in which the main emphasis would be on Hindus being true sons of India and Muslims as outsiders.

All such ideas of declaring India as a Hindu nation and excluding Muslims and Christians from it were further crystallized by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in his controversial book Hindutva as early as 1923. Interestingly, he was allowed to write this polarizing book despite being in the British jail. According to his definition of the Hindu nation, Muslims and Christians remained out of this nationhood because they did not assimilate into Hindu cultural heritage or adopt Hindu religion.

The despicable Prime Minister and his fascist government blames congress for partition. However, The Congress was not consistent on the Partition. On April 2, 1942, the Congress Working Committee criticised the secessionist idea – only to add: “Nevertheless, the Committee cannot think in terms of compelling the people of any territorial unit to remain in the Indian Union against their declared and established will…” Its election manifesto of 1945 reiterated this principle, thus setting at naught the Jagat Narain Lal resolution, adopted by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on May 2, 1942, which ruled out “liberty to any component State or territorial unit to secede.”
Jinnah’s talks with Nehru and Subhas Chandra Bose failed dismally. The Congress took a fateful step. It began advocating the establishment of a Constituent Assembly as a solution to the problem.

“India cannot be assumed today to be a unitarian and homogeneous nation, but on the contrary there are two nations in the main; the Hindus and the Moslems, in India.
And as it has happened in many countries under similar situation in the world, the utmost that we can do under the circumstances is to form an Indian State in which none is allowed any special weightage of representation and none is paid an extra price to buy his loyalty to the State. The Hindus as a nation are willing to discharge their duty to a common Indian State on equal footing. It is safer to diagnose and treat deep-seated disease than to ignore it. ” (Samagra Savarkar Vadmay- Volume 6, Maharashtra Prantik Hindusabha Publication, 1963-65, Page 296)
Savarkar made the above statement in his presidential address at the All India Hindu Mahasabha convention in Karnavati (Ahmedabad) in 1937.

Supporting Jinnah, on August 15, 1943, Savarkar said in Nagpur, “I have no quarrel with Mr Jinnah’s two-nation theory. We, Hindus, are a nation by ourselves and it is a historical fact that Hindus and Muslims are two nations.”

Nevertheless, bjp is titillated to award savarkar bharat ratna, the man who is responsible for dividing the nation on basis of religion. The BJP holds Savarkar in such great esteem that in 2003 it got his portrait installed in parliament facing that of Gandhi’s, the man he had conspired to kill.
Well, that’s the nationalism you can receive from fascists who don’t bother to auction their motherland.

We have reached a stage where a Hindu’s nationalism is never in doubt even if he debunks the Constitution, glorifies Gandhi’s assassin and mourns India’s independence; but a Muslim or Christian’s person’s nationalism is always suspect. However, it is this Hindu nationalistic RSS that allowed India to get destroyed. And if I were to go by the Modi government’s logic, then if this is not anti nationalism then what is?

We Indians who are fundamentally insane in the drunken dilemma of half baked patriotism have forgotten our roots, which is therefore, making our democracy dance in the clad of madness.

And in this situation, we the people of India need to speak up, because this a battle of survival and that’s all our lives as well as democracy which is under threat in India today.

The Great Indian Misogyny- What are it’s roots?

One of the dark sides of public social media profiles is that you’re at risk of attracting the attention of unpleasant people. When people do this deliberately, behind a field of anonymity, it’s called internet trolling. But it’s unfortunately gender biased; men are more likely to be internet trolls than women because they show higher levels of narcissism.

Gender stereotypes and narcissism

Social media in India today, is a further reflection of the pervasiveness of gender stereotypes in the behaviours of men and women. In terms of greater narcissism, one explanation may be that as a result of stereotypes, characteristics such as competitiveness, assertiveness, need for achievement and dominance, tend to be encouraged in the socialisation of men and punished in women. Generally, internet trolls are narcissistic in nature. Being offensive and mean to strangers online gives narcissists the ability to let out the unpleasant sides of their personality – such as a disdain for humanity, and need to be better than everyone else. This is evident by the fact that most internet trolls are anonymous.

Decoding भारत माता की जय

Right wing people who shout out “Bharat Mata Ki Jay” frequently, are the very same men who give rape threats to women and abuse them online.
This is their respect for their “Mata”, which in reality doesn’t symbolizes ‘motherland’ because they fit women only in boxes of homogeneity. Look we need to understand the right wing’s idea of women and femininity. Firstly, when they troll women, they are not concerned about the political or factual aspect of the post or tweet she has done. They see it from the lenses of gender and anatomy. They troll women with the intention to character assassinate her. In our country since women have a substantial existence in the hues of sexism spectrum, thus, it’s easier to abuse her based on her anatomy. In India, a women’s body is not a temple, neither sacred nor holy but a graveyard of centuries of shame with tombstones inscribed upon it. Feeling ashamed of your own body can mentally deprive women, the slut shaming by the cannibals is solely motivated by this intent. The right wing’s idea of femininity is based upon individual suitability of men as a object created primarily for lust satisfaction and not as the divinity of mother nature, which is infinite and thus, cannot be fitted into boxes of homogeneity. They don’t see women as individuals but as rehabilitation products. And since their so called love for the country is in forms of nationalism and not patriotism, it’s not भारत पिता की जय but माता की जय, because their idea about women is also as insensitive as their nationalism.

Political motivation

It’s an open secret that these right wing trolls are politically motivated. The fact they Mr. Modi follows these men who give rape threats to women in twitter says everything about him. What else can be expected from a man allows his mate to snoop on women, his party workers to rape women, ministers and himself included to give misogynist statements. We perhaps must not expect India to be a safe country, under a misogynist Prime Minister. Misogyny is not just limited to verbal statements that degrade the dignity of women but also to casual attitude to allow a uncomfortable environment for women to establish. And prime ministers sexist comments and insults to Sonia Gandhi is not a hidden truth. All these things, indicate a political inclination to gender trolling.

Liberalism and religion factor

In contrary, the liberal critics of women are ideology based and humanistic, moreover, they are atheist in nature. And atheism does play a role in misogyny, at least I personally feel so. If we historically trace the Indian society, then, every single sacred text in its initial format has placed women in the position they deserve. Neither extremely superior nor extremely inferior, but right next to man on the parameters of equality. However, in the later vedic age, the original scripts were manipulated by brahmin priests who had assumed a greater position in the society. The sacred texts lost their holiness and were interpreted as per the suitability of hyper masculine men, who started out practices of purdah, girl child marriage and as well as sati just to earn profit my depriving a particular section of the society. Women too didn’t resist to such ideas, as they were religiously motivated. This is how the misogyny in Indian society started. It started with created theories of religion. In fact, in early vedic age, there was a substantial amount of atheists present who actually inspired women to come out and assist in administration. The society then, even produced women scholars in academics. Thus, we can conclude, that people who are not religiously motivated don’t preach misogyny, because the present religious interpretation of mankind deprives the significance of women. You can’t liberate one group by depriving the others, the brahmin priests who had degraded the position of women, knew the actual power of women, thus knew, if women are allowed to be empowered then the power and position of the brahmin priests will be questioned and a male dominated society cannot be established.

The appearance factor and slut shaming

The role of appearance in sexism culture is unfortunately substantial. Characterizing women’s beauty with such nonsense, is the consequence of normalized body shaming & racism in our domestic environment by Indian mothers in the garb skincare. Girls forcefully comprise to this attitude. All these normalizes the attitude of gender trolling in social media. Gender trolling which is a direct consequence of deeply rooted patriarchy within the four walls of our home. The sense of superiority develops during adolescence in men, which later reciprocates into misogyny. The least we as a society can contribute is to respect the women in our own homes first. Slut is arguably the most ubiquitous slur used against women, and yet it’s nearly impossible to define. This nebulous, unquantifiable quality of the slur is what makes it so distressing – there’s no way to disprove something that has no conclusive boundaries to begin with. And because it’s meant to be more of an identity than a label, it’s a term not easily shaken off. The one thing we do know about “slut” is that it’s the last thing a woman should want to be and is literally taught that a slut is that victim who deviates from norms of femininity. Society is so concerned over women and girls’ potential for promiscuity that we create dress codes, school curricula, even legislation around protecting women’s supposed purity and magazine stories wonder if we’re raising a generation of “prostitute”. But that same society forces us to believe that women are sluts and men are, well, men. Multiple girls have taken their own lives of late after being “slut-shamed” – an indication that the slur shows little sign of waning in the damage it does personally. While Anti-rape protests are popular in terms of attendance and media coverage, but the fact that women feel word “slut” was irredeemable – especially women of color, for whom racist stereotypes about their supposed innate promiscuity always presented a unique danger never gets highlighted in mainstream media. No matter, what we wear or look like, to a bloody jerk, women anatomy has been always made the default instrument of trolling, which is nothing more than pseudo self satisfaction of men because of their personal frustration. Online violence against women is essentially an extension of the offline violence directed at women owing to their gender – it targets their sexuality, reduces them to sexual objects and reinforces gender stereotypes. Online violence often leads to women being silenced or self-censoring of their opinions because of fear of backlash. Therefore, such violence and abuse act as barriers to women being able to exercise their rights to equality and freedom of expression.

Trollers aren’t afraid

People who troll women in social media do it because they aren’t afraid. They have nothing to fear. Because they think women won’t respond to their trolls. People who troll think women as inferior creatures who won’t speak up for themselves. Hence, they expect to escape out of any self embarrassment after trolling. There are also epochal reasons to why women don’t respond back to their trolls. Women think there is something wrong in themselves which is allowing the troller to troll as a counter reaction, they get puzzled as what to respond back to the troller. You might say why don’t women report trolls, this is because in majority of cases, there is no respond from the social media platforms. Women think nothing will happen by speaking up. At times she knows that she must speak up. She is aware that it’s not her fault, but she dosen’t wants to let her identity be limited to a social media post only. She dosen’t wishes to see herself being a part of social media discourse for politicians to play politics and crazy feminists to get content. Her stain has a infinite existence. But she dosen’t wants her stain to be an identity. She dosen’t wants to make her sufferings a ticket to her fame, which is not really her fame even but just a topic of temporary gossip. She dosen’t wants herself to be remembered for being the victim of the lust of social cannibals.

Look beyond the women question

The need of the hour is to tackle the gendered aspect of online abuse and uphold the rights of women in the country. And that brings us to another problem. The principles of equality and non-discrimination form the basis of all human rights instruments. It is therefore clear that as a matter of human rights law, all women must be entitled to the full enjoyment of their human rights. Women are not a homogeneous group of rights holders and discrimination against them can be expressed in many different forms and contexts. In order to protect, promote and advance women’s human rights, advocates and policy makers must take into account differences among women with respect to age, socio-economic status, racial/ethnic background, religion or status. Women are neither a burden nor a cigarette. We Indians who anyway live in a world of foolish illusions, see women and gender trolling from hues of homogeneity spectrum. If we desire to remove gender bias, we first need to stop seeing it from the lenses of gender. We need to look beyond the women question. When we see a problem beyond the identity and the gender that person holds. When we make laws, making human values the touchstone regardless of gender. When give this exclusive criteria of female requisites, somewhere down the line you even believe they are inferior. Whom do you give exclusiveness? To the marginalized sections! Women are not marginalised and following this conceptual fallacies on the name of women empowerment is like sprinkling salt on wounds and you know what these wounds are incurable coz the tragic truth is a women’s life is like a white cloth. The stain remains. You might argue that gender equality is essential, equality implies equal respect regardless of gender not inspite of gender. Social equality as an ideal has been slow to impress itself upon modern Indian politics. Sometimes like a banal truism of irrelevant persuasions. Equalism is necessary but also a necessary evil like reservation.

1) Advertisement

As per the replies, from June 2014 to March 2015, the government spent Rs 424.85 crore in print publicity, Rs 448.97 crore on electronic media and Rs 79.72 crore on outdoor publicity. In the next fiscal 2015-16, the spending increased for all media. These included, Rs 510.69 crore on print media, Rs 541.99 crore on electronic media and Rs 118.43 crore on outdoor publicity, or a total of Rs 1,171.11 crore. In 2016-17, the expenditure incurred on print medium dropped (yet higher than the first year June 2014-March 2015), to Rs 463.38 crore, but for the electronic medium it increased over the previous year to Rs 613.78 crore, and increased to Rs 185.99 crore on outdoor publicity, totalling to Rs 1,263.15 crore. The next year, April 2017-March 2018, there was a sharp drop in spending on electronic media over the previous year to Rs 475.13 crore and a significant drop in outdoor publicity expenses to Rs 147.10 crore. According to the data accessed by India Today TV, ‘Bharat Ke Mann Ki Baat’ — an unverified page on Facebook that asks users to give feedback to the prime minister — is the top spender on political ads. The page had spent more than Rs 1.2 crore on its 1,556 ads averaging to roughly Rs 7,700 per ad. The pro-Narendra Modi page has 3,00,000 followers on the social media platform and was founded on January 27 this year.
Nation with NaMo’, another Modi fan page that has over 1.1 million followers on Facebook, stood second on the list. The page had spent more than Rs 64 lakh on its 1,074 ads averaging to around Rs 6,000 per ad.
The third in the list was ‘MyGovIndia’. The online citizen engagement platform’s Facebook page had spent Rs 34 lakh for its 123 advertisements averaging to more than Rs 27,000 per ad. The page has more than 3,70,000 followers.
The fourth in the list was neither a political figure nor a party. The news app Daily Hunt (DailyHunt + DailyHunt App) stood at No. 4 for spending a total amount of Rs 33 lakh on its 16 ads, averaging to more than Rs 2 lakh per ad.
Though the pro-BJP, pro-Modi pages spent the highest on political ads, the average spending didn’t turn out to be the highest in these pages.
BabyChakra, an online parenting app, had paid the highest amount for its one ad costing Rs 6.2 lakh.
Second highest average spender on Facebook ads was news app Daily Hunt with average spending of Rs 5.4 lakh.
The third in the chart was the Bharatiya Janata Party which had published two ads post-February 7 averaging to Rs 3.3 lakh per ad.

A public-interest litigation petition was filed against Adani Group, Reliance Group, Essar Group and other mining and energy companies for an investigation of alleged ₹290 billion overcharges for Indonesian coal and imported power equipment from 2011 to 2015. The dimension of the scam relating to inflation of power tariffs by, among other things, over-invoicing imported coal has become considerably bigger. It has now come to light that electricity generating companies are seeking to obtain compensatory tariffs from regulators. In addition, particular firms in the Adani and Essar Groups, have allegedly over-invoiced imports of equipment. The total size of the scam is currently estimated at Rs 50,000 crore, if not more.

Cryptocurrency scams are on a rise in India. A host of popular Bollywood stars and a businessman were arrested in June in a $300 million Bitcoin scam. Police personnels in India have also been involved in multiple scams involving virtual currencies. Accusations of tax evasion and police corruption, a kidnapper who was kidnapped, a fugitive politician, and billions in bitcoin lost. This is crypto-trading Gujarat-style. The ingredients are part of an investigation in Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state into allegations that investors poured cash into a bitcoin-based Ponzi scheme that could exceed the country’s largest banking scandal. The fallout extends as far as Texas and has embroiled a former law maker. A special investigation team (SIT) probing an alleged Ponzi scheme run by Anubhav Mittal, managing director of Ablaze Info Solution, concentrated their efforts on suspicious transactions by nearly 200 gold and diamond dealers.

From its inception, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), the body implementing the project, has been facing controversies over land acquisition and cases filed by farmers in court. There is fundamental opposition to the idea of a Rs 1.1 lakh crore train corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad — even though the project is being funded by an 80% loan from Japan.

PM Narendra Modi was a biopic launched in May 2019. In response to a notice sent by the Election Commission on a complaint lodged by Congress, the producers of the film have denied that it is a political propaganda, and have insisted that they have “put in their personal money” to produce the movie. Indian express has quoted Hitesh Jain, the lawyer for producers Anand K Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Manish Acharya and Suresh Oberoi, as saying: “The allegations made linking our client’s movie with a political party merely on a few public events, Facebook posts and tweets are not only false but have no basis in either fact and/or law.” He said the biopic was “produced by our clients and not any political candidates” and advised people to not “jump to the conclusion” only because Vivek Oberoi, who plays the lead protagonist, is known to be sympathetic to the Bjp. As for BJP president Amit Shah and Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis being invited to promote the film, the producers submitted that this was done to ensure “resounding commercial success” of the movie. Another reason given was that Shah has also been depicted as a character in the film. The daily reported that Jain is a partner at Parinam Law Associates and a shareholder and director of BlueKraft Digital Foundation. Citing records from the ministry of corporate affairs, it said he owned 50% of the shares in BlueKraft as on March 31, 2018. Jain told the newspaper that he was an “independent lawyer” and “BlueKraft has nothing to do with this”. He also insisted that BlueKraft has “no link to the government”. However, a closer look at BlueKraft’s functioning revealed that it has been closely working with BJP and/or its leaders.

In December 2018, a special investigation team looking into an illegal iron-ore mining case named Reddy in its chargesheet as an accused. But the Central Bureau of Investigation later closed this case, citing technical reasons.

Maharashtra women and child welfare minister Pankaja Munde did not solicit mandatory e-tenders in awarding contracts to vendors. The controversy relates to awarding of chikki contracts worth Rs206 crore for school children. In June 2015, Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant had filed a complaint with the ACB, alleging Munde’s ministry had, on her orders, flouted rules and favoured certain companies when awarding contracts worth Rs206 crore in February.

For the five crore well-fed and happy cows, the lowest cost at ₹30 per day takes us to ₹54,750 crore per year. Or US$ 8 billion! If the mission of the gau rakshaks succeeds, then there would be five crore cows out on the streets of India that give little to no milk. Assuming that they are fed and not left to starve and die, which is a horrible thing to do. In fact, the yogi government has already spent 647 crore on gau Mata. Out of which 247.41 crore is for cow shelters.

12) Defaulters:

On 5 April 2017, the CBI registered six cases against Winsome Diamonds and Jewellery and Forever Precious Jewellery and Diamonds and their chief promoter, Jatin Mehta, for allegedly cheating three government banks of ₹7000 crore.

Even as Lalit Modi is in the news over alleged irregularities in his travel documents, sources claim that two months back, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches in Delhi and Gurgaon under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. During the searches, ED found evidence which showed that around Rs 125 crore had travelled to Mauritius and Cayman Islands. ED officials are probing whether the money was routed into the illegal accounts of Lalit Modi.

Mehul Choksi, 59, accused of swindling Punjab National Bank out of Rs 13,000 crore, fled India in January last year along with his nephew and co-accused Nirav Modi.

Nirav Modi, is a key accused in the Rs 12,700-crore fraud in the Punjab National Bank.

Nitin Jayantilal Sandesara, the 58-year-old director of Gujarat-based pharma giant Sterling Biotech, has been embroiled in controversy ever since his company was accused of taking loans of over Rs 5,000 crore from a consortium of banks, which then turned into non-performing assets.

The government has levelled charges of mis-management and mis-governance on the IL&FS board while justifying its move to remove the existing board and instate a new six-member board. Ravi Parthasarathy, the Chairman, got a 144 per cent jump in remunerations last year, while Hari Sankaran, Vice-chairman and managing director, got a 3.86 per cent hike and Arun K Saha, Joint Managing Director & CEO, 10.43 per cent hike. Parthasarthy’s total salary in 2017-18 was Rs 26.3 crore, while Sankaran’s salary was Rs 7.7 crore. In the previous year, though, both Parthasarthy and Sankaran took a cut of 2 per cent and 4.5 per cent, respectively. The average percentage increase in the salaries of employees other than managerial personnel in 2016-17 was 1.76 per cent and the average percentage increase in the managerial remuneration was 0.22 per cent. The government in a press release has said that IL&FS Group has infrastructure and financial assets exceeding Rs 11,5000 crore and is struggling to service around Rs 91,000 crore in debt “which is the outcome of its mismanaged borrowings in the past.”

After Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, the CBI had registered a case against a Delhi-based diamond jewellery exporter for an alleged bank loan fraud to the tune of Rs 389.85 crore towards Oriental Bank of Commerce. The CBI has booked Dwarka Das Seth International Pvt Ltd for the alleged fraud.

In 2017, the Enforcement Directorate had seized assets worth Rs 27 crore of the controversial defence consultant and arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari in connection with the Rs 150 crore black money case.

And the infamous Vijay mallya, fled the country with 9500 crore indebted.

15) Demonitisation :

Income-tax returns (ITRs) have seen a surge post demonetisation and GST introduction, and the government claims these numbers suggest a surge in tax compliance in the country. However, according to Indian Express as many as 8.80 million taxpayers turned out to be ‘stop filers’ – those who did not file tax returns in a given year despite doing so in previous years- in the financial year 2016-17 – the year Prime Minister Narendra Modi demonetised high-value currency notes.

16) Dal scam :

According to the investigation, the satta traders first identify how each crop is faring, especially the one that is likely to fare poorly that year. Once the crop, called the loose point, is identified, the operators form a cartel and devise a joint strategy to artificially inflate its prices. The cartel then sends procurement agents to Myanmar and Africa. Large importers in these countries then purchase the food crop from all major suppliers in India. To further suck the supplies out of Indian market, the large operators also buy out crops procured by smaller importers at a premium.

Gujarat ministers Purshottam Solanki and Dileepbhai Sanghani were accused of illegally granting fishing contracts for 58 reservoirs. The Gujarat police had arrested Ishak Maradia, the man whose relentless efforts had unearthed Rs 400 crore fisheries scam in the state in which sitting BJP minister Parshottam Solanki, ex-minister Dileep Sanghani were named as key accused.

21) Ganga Cleaning:

Modi government spent Rs7,000 crores (Dh3500 million) in just two years on cleaning Ganges, with no results. The Ganges is practically dead because more than 1.3 billion litres of sewage; 260 million litres of industrial waste; run-off from six million tonnes of fertiliser and 9000 tonnes of pesticides used in agriculture; and very large quantities of solid waste are released daily into the river held sacred in India.

Vinod, a BJP Yuva Morcha leader and head of the party’s cooperative cell in Kerala, to get Medical Council of India recognition for the Kerala Medical College & Hospital set up in Cherpulassery in Palakkad district. Over 3,850 petrol pumps and gas agencies had allegedly been allotted to BJP leaders, workers and their family members all over the country. In Kerala, the Rs 18-crore scandal had come to light mainly because of factional feud in the BJP.

According to the elections think-tank, the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), in the financial year of 2017-18, India’s seven largest political parties declared a combined income of Rs 1,397.90 crore. Of this, the BJP alone received Rs 1,027.339 crore – a whopping 73.5% of that income share. Almost all of the BJP’s income was from donations – Rs 989 crore out of the Rs 1,027 crore total income.

35) PMC Bank

The bank, which had Rs 11,617 crore in deposits as on March 31, 2019, had violated Reserve Bank of India (RBI) norms to lend heavily to one client-real-estate firm Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited (HDIL), which itself is facing bankruptcy proceedings. The RBI has imposed lending restrictions on PMCB, at Rs 10,000 per customer for six months, creating panic among depositors. The FIR estimated the total fraud amount could be Rs 4,355.46 crore. According to the initial investigations, PMC Bank did not report its exposure to Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited (HDIL) for six to seven years. Joy Thomas, the MD of the bank was suspended. He admitted the exposure of the bank to the troubled realty company HDIL and also stated that the company had been violating the RBI rules for 5-6 years now. Of the overall loan book of 8300 crores, PMC bank loans to HDIL stood at Rs.6226 crore, about 73% of total loans of the bank. The actual gain to the government from the RBI’s surplus transfer of Rs 1.76 lakh crore is Rs 58,000 crore, calculations reveal. 46)Yedruppa diaries

Documents accessed by The Caravan reveal that the income-tax department is in possession of copies of diary entries in the handwriting of the prominent BJP leader and the former chief minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa, that note payoffs amounting to over Rs 1,800 crore to the BJP’s national leaders, its central committee, and judges and advocates. Yeddyurappa recorded these alleged payouts in a Karnataka state assembly legislator’s 2009 diary, in Kannada, in his own hand. Copies of these entries have been with the income-tax department since 2017. The copies of the diary pages note that Yeddyurappa paid the BJP Central Committee Rs 1,000 crore; that he paid the finance minister Arun Jaitley and the transport minister Nitin Gadkari Rs 150 crore each. that he gave the home minister Rajnath Singh Rs 100 crore; and that he paid the BJP stalwart LK Advani and the senior party leader Murli Manohar Joshi Rs 50 crore each. Besides this, the entry notes, Yeddyurappa paid Rs 10 crore for “Gadkari’s son’s marriage.” The diary entries also state that Yeddyurappa paid Rs 250 crore to “judges” and Rs 50 crore to “Advocates (fee paid for cases),” but does not mention any names. The entry notes payments amounting to Rs 150 crore allegedly given to eight leaders. The names in the entry include PM Narendraswamy, who won as an independent in 2008, and was appointed the minister for women and child development in Yeddyurappa’s cabinet; Anand Asnotikar Vasant, who won on a Congress ticket, and was appointed the minister for fisheries, science and technology; and Balachandra Laxmanrao Jarakiholi, who won on a JD(S) ticket, and was appointed the minister for municipalities and local bodies. Asnotikar subsequently quit the BJP to join the JD(S), in January 2018. Seven of the eight leaders have amounts of Rs 20 crore written next to their names. An entry for Goolihatti Shekhar, an independent candidate who was subsequently appointed the sports and youth affairs minister in Yeddyurappa’s cabinet, notes that he was allegedly paid Rs 10 crore. The CBI arrested him in September 2011 from Bellary, in association with an illegal-mining case, and he subsequently spent three years in jail before he was released on bail in 2015. Reddy was arrested again in November 2018, on the charge of receiving nearly Rs 20 crore by a private company accused of defrauding thousands of investors. He was sent to judicial custody, and is currently out on bail. In December 2018, a special investigation team looking into an illegal iron-ore mining case named Reddy in its chargesheet as an accused. The entries note that the donors gave Yeddyurappa Rs 2,690 crore. Among others, the entry names former state cabinet ministers from the BJP, such as Basavraj Bommai, Aravind Limbavali and Murugesh Nirani; the BJP leader K Subramanya Naidu; and BJP MLAs such as J Krishna Palemar, CC Patil, and Laxman Savadi, all three of whom were once caught watching pornographic clips during assembly proceedings. Most donors named in the entry did not respond to calls from The Caravan. The few that did either denied the payment or claimed ignorance of any donation. The Prerana Trust, which is managed by Yeddyurappa’s family, is listed as having paid Rs 500 crore.

The CAG implicated Smriti Irani for making payment of Rs 5.93 crore from MPLADS funds, without tender, including fraudulent payment of Rs 84.53 lakh. Besides, the playground at Kuchwahi purchased by the company, Irani bought a hectare of land in another village Bijharia, three kilometres away. The seller of the plot, Pushpendra Singh, who lives in Rewa, told National Herald that he received a cheque signed by ZF Irani for ₹9.5 lakh although he was apparently “expecting a higher price.

Now, do the maths, all of these comes to a total of 10 quadrillion, which has been wasted in statues, Detention centres, Publicity, personal luxurious, cow welfare and endless corruption scandals as well as schemes by the Modi government in the past 6 years. However, the article doesn’t ends here. Let me present to you one last (not so astonishing) hard facts regarding taxes.

In 2015-2016, the gross tax collection of the Centre from excise amounted to ₹2.80 trillion (US$41 billion). The net direct tax collection during April-January of this fiscal stood at Rs 7.89 lakh crore as against Rs 12 lakh crore targeted for the entire fiscal of 2018-19. Analysis of the country’s tax revenues for the past six years (2013-14 to 2018-19) shows that Maharashtra leads the tally in tax revenues. It has raised direct taxes of Rs 19,17,944.98 crore, and is followed by Delhi (Rs 6,93,275.11 crore) and Karnataka (Rs 4,99,310.99 crore). The government collected Rs 6.07 lakh crore tax till September, 2019 far below its Budget target of Rs 16.49 lakh crore, as per the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) data.

Governments own records have shown a huge difference in the amount of tax which has been collected by the public and the 10 quadrillion amount which was wasted in the Modi regime. Forget about crores, trillions of amount of money which the government was able to waste, was not even slightly equivalent to the taxes that we have paid. So from where did this massive excess amount come, is for you to judge, and the rest is history. The electoral bonds have also not contributed so much, compared to what the excess amount is.

India is facing a severe shortage of money and rising issues of poverty, but this is not because we are a poor country or we don’t have the resources for a sustainable development, but because our resources be it wealth or land or oil or water are been exploited. The government doesn’t lack money, to make India develop, it just lacks of politicians who have welfare intentions. The main reason, behind India’s current economic crisis, is a sinister capitalistic reaction. Our economy needs structural changes. Had the government lacked money and suffered a financial shortage, the government of India, wouldn’t have got the audacity to waste 10 quadrillion Rupees. And these are just cases which have been highlighted in mainstream media, the real amount behind the doors in ac rooms within the four walls, is beyond anyone’s imagination.

No wonder, our democracy is about two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.

Why Are We Still Debating Secularism? Beyond Constitutional Formalities in Modern India

I recently watched a debate on whether secularism should remain a part of our Constitution, even after 78 years of independence. It’s astonishing that such a fundamental question is still being discussed in our country. What has led us to this point where we are re-evaluating a principle that is essential to our democratic fabric?

Secularism is not just a concept enshrined in our Constitution for the sake of formality. It is a universal human right that ensures the separation of religion from the state, guaranteeing that no religion is given preferential treatment or discriminated against by the government. The idea behind secularism is to create a level playing field where every individual’s religious beliefs are respected, and no one’s rights are infringed upon because of their faith.

Debating the inclusion of secularism in our Constitution as though it were a mere procedural formality overlooks its deeper significance. In New India, where we face increasing communal tensions and divisive rhetoric, secularism should be viewed as more than just a historical artifact in our preamble. It should be embraced as a fundamental human right that protects the rights and freedoms of all citizens, regardless of their religious beliefs.

The fact that we are still debating this issue highlights a troubling trend in our political discourse. It reflects a lack of understanding of what secularism truly represents and a failure to appreciate its importance in maintaining social harmony and protecting individual freedoms. Secularism is not just about what’s written in our Constitution; it’s about upholding universal principles of fairness and equality in a diverse society.

As we move forward, it is crucial to reaffirm our commitment to secularism not merely as a constitutional mandate but as a core value that supports and strengthens our democratic ideals. This commitment should guide our actions and policies, ensuring that secularism remains a living, breathing principle in our society.

CAA & NRC – the reckoning

Mr. Modi had promised that he will wipe out the all the illegal immigrants in 2014.
The fact that CAA + NRC needs to be introduced in 2019, shows that he has failed to keep his promise & the government has been incompetent in the last 6 years. The very existence of this need pellucids.

However, you must be thinking that why, what is the real the real motive of the BJP behind nationwide implementation of the CAA and NRC. Here, I analysis 10 such reasons which are possibly the real intention of the bjp.

1) Create Distraction

The bjp government has failed in providing a sustainable development for its citizens. Unable to handle the exploding economic crisis, the Modi govt., especially in its second term, has opted for a slew of actions that will communalize the country and keep people busy thinking about religious divisions. This will take away the heat from the government. Mr. Modi wants people to be engaged on other issues which don’t really matter, so that they forget about the real issues, liking falling economy, unemployment, pollution and etc. This government is basically insecure. They don’t want people to think. The more people will think, they will question the government and demand for answers. This wretched disdain for intellectuals and intellectualism shows that India is heading backwards towards the age of base instincts and barbarism.

2) Create an atmosphere of fear

The BJP government wants to grab votes from the citizens in the upcoming election states by threatening them about caa and NRC. The people who will refuse to vote them, will ultimately vote the bjp in fear of being sent to detention centres. Already many people including bjp workers have committed suicide in failing to give documental evidences of their citizenship in fear of being sent to a detention centre. Like this the bjp will also be successful in dominating the people of India by their power, thus, a authoritarian hierarchy will be established where people will eventually be afraid to ask questions.

3) Communal polarization

The bjp wants to communalise the society on lines of religion. They basically want to replay the divide and rule tactic, prevalent in British Era. This will help in extending their tenure and the wave. A blind rage relating to matters of religion, withers the thinking capacity of the mankind. Individuals become slaves, who are willing to auction their motherland, making the puppet business easier for politicians. Politicians eventually need not canvas much on development or political strategies as the heat of the campaign becomes stagnant by scapegoating the civilians.

4) Creation of an exclusive votebank

Besides, the fear strategy another way of grabbing votes can be blackmail or horse trading. And since, the CAA civilians have been invited by the bjp, they themselves will be be willing to vote in their drunken dilemma of glorification and development expectations. Moreover, over the CAA can also give illegal emigrants (not to be confused with ‘immigrant’ ) an escape opportunity and another chance of livelihood. In return, they will vote for the bjp, as partners in crime. By appeasing these people, the bjp will gain profit.

5) Partition 0.2- Reorganization of the country

The bjp wants reorganize the country as per their suitability. It wants to show cast its power and whip up anger or hatred against anybody they don’t like, as well bringing in people who serve their motives. They just want to keep those citizens in the country who are beneficial to them, and won’t make them (BJP) feel insecure. Giving only to those who gave is how they want to play the game, determined by mutual benefits and understanding.

6) Concentration on other strategies

As I have mentioned before, they want to distract us from real issues.
Meanwhile, they wish to concentrate on other issues and strategies. While we all are distracted from the reality, they wish to utilize this time in thinking and executing other fascist propagandas and plans to destroy the nation. So that when this episode of caa ends, another some big issue comes up and people get distracted. This is basically a cycle, that’s gonna repeat.

7) Nationalism Gimmick

In name of national interests, bjp wants to change the wave and pattern of people’s mentality. It wishes impose a psychological diversion that has a long lasting effect. So that when ultimately, people will be able to see the reality and discover the truth, it will be too late. It will be too late, for them to voice their opinions and the environment around them be it political or social will be helpless as well, because by that time the political strength and control will increase to a zenith. And the best way to do this, is to add the flavor of nationalism in it. People will be made to feel they are comprising for the country and countries benefit. People will eventually be willing to support its government in the midst of a blind of rage development, progress and glorifications driven by false narratives. And this idea of nationalism separates from the concept of truth and knowledge, which should ideally be the fundamental substance of worship. From truth comes humility, from humility comes wisdom. And that is what even education is all about. Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man. And this cannot proceed without truth and knowledge of real liberty.

8) Revenge

The bjp wants to take a revenge from the Muslims because of the anti modi narrative prevalent in their community. They want the Muslims to feel the price of ignoring and not supporting modi, because it is the Muslim community that has the least modi supporters. They want to make them understand that everything has a price to pay, especially freedom which they are indebted to. Moreover, by the fear strategy I mentioned above, they even want to take a revenge from the congress. People who are actually congress hearted might vote the bjp in fear, making the congress feel bad about themselves and perhaps losing their confidence. Which will result in incompetent strategies, and the possibility of bjp winning in states where congress wave is will get increased. And nevertheless, the hatred of the bjp for congress is well known for obvious reasons.

9) Hindu Rashtra establishment

There is not a black or white side to religion neither is there a abstract angle. It is wholly an absolute divider in garb of emotions. If you think religion and politics do not mix, then you understand neither. The bjp wants to make our democracy dance in the clad of madness. The hindutva nationalism being driven in our country today has nowhere to go beyond the line of tyranny. Nationalism which is already driven by the wrong noesis of patriotism is being doubly subjugated by the inclusion of religion into it. In this drunken dilemma of religious extroverts where god is a proxy, the institutions, masses and legislature can be exploited. Moreover, theocratic states are long lasting and easier to govern by fascists because the people are fools who fall in trap easily. Thus, Mr modi’s legacy can be made permanent by this strategy. It’s no secret that we are fundamentally insane in matters of religion; its like your arrogance is better than my ignorance.

10) Majority appeasement

Recent actions of Modi govt. – from abrogation of special status of J&K and turning it into a military prison to CAB and NRC, and also claims about resolving the Ayodhya issue – have all contributed to this larger thrust of the Sangh Parivar. It may reap some benefit electorally, although that itself has become doubtful now after the BJP’s losses in Haryana and Maharshtra and the bye-polls in West Bengal. The NRC exercise came up with ‘identification’ of over 19 lakh ‘foreigners’ based on the 1985 Assam Accord cut off date of March 1971. As it reportedly turned out, a majority of them were Hindus. This has caused much heartburn among the Sangh Parivar and BJP affiliates. The CAB will solve this problem because the Hindus among these so-called foreigners will then be accommodated in India.

But, always remember people who think they are the cleverest of all, are the absolute idiots. It is the public who has made Mr. Modi and Amit Shah, representatives of God on earth, if they wish they can make them jokers as well.

The Battle Of Survival- Partition 0.2

NRC is the National Register of Citizens. The NRC identified illegal immigrants from Assam on the Supreme Court’s order. This has been a state-specific exercise to keep its ethnic uniqueness unaltered. But ever since its implementation, there have been false cases as well. People have been wrongly detained and called immigrants as well. In the Citizenship Act, 1955 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 2,
in sub-section (1), in clause (b), the following provison shall be inserted, namely:—

“Provided that any person belonging to Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi or Christian community from Afghanistan, Bangladesh or Pakistan, who entered into India on or before the 31st day of December, 2014 and who has been exempted by the Central Government by or under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1920 or from the application of the provisions of the foreigners Act, 1946 or any rule or order made thereunder, shall not be treated as illegal migrant for the purposes of this Act;”.

Now, obviously, where there are visible vapours having their provenance in ignited carbonaceous materials, there is conflagration. I would like to now state 14 arguments and decode the fallacies of bigots who have supported CAA.

Argument 1) “There are many Islamic countries across the world, Muslims can go there.”

Point: Why will citizens who have been granted secular and democratic measures in the constitution of India, go somewhere else? After staying in India, for over 70 years why will someone leave, because of the religion, that also in a secular state? Why after 70 years of independence, we will follow the two nation theory of jinnah? Why can’t we stay together? Historically, all theocratic states have been socially and economically deplorable. Diversity is a economic strength and not weakness.

Argument 2) ” Reasonable classification is allowed. Many things like SC, ST quota is given using ‘reasonable classification’.”

Point: Reasonable Classification is allowed but the language of CAA shows it is not reasonable classification but unreasonable, illogical, arbitrary classification. The law has three elements. 1/Islamic countries 2/Minorities 3/Persecution. How are these chosen? What is the logic behind this classification? Firstly, Why only 3 countries, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh? They chose Islamic countries around India. Then why not Maldives? It is an island country with a chosen religion Islam and shares border waters with India. And how come Afghanistan, it does not share border with India.

Argument 3: ” The reason behind the 3 chosen countries is that they persecute their minorities. Thus no need of stressing other countries”

Point: Then why not China (persecute Uighur) and Myanmar (persecute Rohingyas)? Why not Sri Lanka, Tamil Hindus are persecuted there? Shias and Ahmedi is persecuted in Pakistan. And what was the need of amit shah to exclude Muslim as the persecuted minorities in CAA invitation? Because Sri Lanka or China are not Islamic country, we are only considering 3 Islamic countries. See that is arbitrary classification. Are we trying to protect all Hindus or only those Hindus who are persecuted in Muslim countries? Victim is a victim. Does the status of victim change as per which country is doing the persecution?

Argument 4: “Countries which are products of Partition have been chosen. Because partition was based upon religion. Thus, it’s caa can restore the destruction caused by partition. “

Point : Then how come Afghanistan is included ? It was not born of partition. And BTW, suddenly after the elections, when the country is going through a recession we are reminded about the need to restore the destruction caused by the partition?

Argument 5: “Hindus are suffering for many years, giving them shelter is India’s duty, what is your problem if those suffering are getting protection? Don’t you understand their pain?

Point: Nobody is stopping India from giving shelter to Hindus from these 3 nations. Only objection is to specifically mention all religions except Muslims. Giving shelter to persecuted people is a very noble task. But giving it only to your chosen community, is not noble and discriminatory. There is no logical explanation to why only some religion and only 3 countries? Why not all persecuted people from all neighbouring countries?
Secondly, why the law specifically mention Hindus and few others and exclude Muslims from these 3 countries when it is a matter of public record that sub sects of Islam within these countries are also persecuted and so are atheists, homosexuals etc. Most importantly, you can’t liberate one group without the others. In your pseudo quest to empower the Hindus you must not have the audacity to disintegrate the other communities.

Argument 6: ” India is natural land of Hindus. If Hindus will not come here then where will they go? Muslims have 50 countries to go to, Hindus have only one.”

Point: It is against our Constitution to say that. India is natural land of people of all faith, not just Hindus because Constitution did not declare a state religion, therefore we cannot make this assertion. It is a veiled attempt to turn India Hindu Rashtra, which is what we are objecting to. And Hindus can go to any country they like, no country in the world says Hindus are not welcome. In fact as per 2017 Migration Report (https://www.un.org/development/desa/publications/international-migration-report-2017.html ) India is no.1 migrants sending country, it must also mean that most of them are Hindus. So what does it mean Hindus have nowhere to go? Be it a hindu or Muslim must no suddenly be asked to leave and come into other nations, only to satisfy political intentions of fascists driven by sadomasochism. No religion is under threat, it’s a constitution which is under threat, its pellucid by the very need of a religious discussion going on in an Era of recession. Those fascists who are busy labelling nationalistic certificates on us, in reality are the real anti nationals. As per their logic, the real threat to this country is the government of India and the real anti-national are the two bigots who are making a mockery of democracy. We need not provide nationalism certificates for them.

Argument 7: ” When CAA does not apply to Indian citizens then what is the problem? All Indian citizens are safe, nothing to worry. Genuine Indians will have documents, they need not worry, only infiltrators have to worry.”

Point: But who is a citizen? Today nobody is sure who is citizen unless nationwide NRC happens. We have to show legacy document because Home Ministry said Passport, PAN, Aadhar etc are not proof of citizenship.
BTW, these are the same Indians who voted for modi twice. So if these are illegal then isn’t their vote illegal as well? Isn’t modi govt illegal by that logic. Also it’s impossible to provide 50 years old documents. Privileged elite class people are committing suicide by not been able to provide it, in fear of going to detention centres. Imagine what the rural people must be facing.
Genuine Indians should worry. We have already seen in case of Assam that NRC process is totally flawed. Poor people who live in villages, affected by floods and mass displacement, where will they get legacy document? Even BJP has rejected the results of Assam NRC because they feel many genuine Indians, even Hindus have been excluded. Nationwide NRC will have double the mistakes, millions of Indians will be declared illegals. But only the Muslims will suffer because even if you cant show document, if you are Hindus you can get citizenship as per CAA. This is the main problem. We tend to forget that we all are and were humans under the shelter of earth. And the colour of our blood is same. Those religious extremists who go against this idea are nothing more than human traffickers. India is not India anymore and humans are humans anymore.

Argument 8: “NRC is still not announced. It is not going to happen immediately why fret over something that is not real yet. It has nothing to do with religion. It’s a foreign policy “

Point: It was announced but Government is backtracking now. Should we not believe Amit Shah? He himself said it on the floor of Parliament that NRC will happen. He said it in April 2019 in a campaign too. We have seen the video. He also gave the chronology that first there will be CAB then NRC. There is no doubt that NRC will happen and it would make millions of Indians illegal, but all faith will get protection under CAA except Muslims. The law mentions identity instead of events or experience. Means, instead of saying ‘persecuted people’ it says ‘Hindus, Jain, Sikh etc” which means identity is enough and there is no need to prove persecution. It gives a blanket cover to Hindus etc from these 3 countries on the wrong assumption that all Hindus are persecuted and no Muslims are persecuted.

Argument 9: ” How can you doubt what Amit Shah said, just go to the refugee camps. How can you say there is no persecution of Hindus in Pakistan.”

Point: We are not saying there is no violence against Hindus. But incidences of violence and State sponsored persecution is different. Persecution and refugee problem are global problems, many organizations including United Nations keep record, we know about Uighurs, Rohingyas but there is no documented history of massive Hindu persecution anywhere in world. Pakistan has Hindu Members of Parliament, how is it possible if there was State sponsored persecution?
Please read Faizan Mustafa’s Explainers in Indian Express which says that while both Pak and Bangladesh maybe Islamic nation but that doesn’t mean people of other faith are 2nd class citizens. Bangladesh’s Constitution in fact is secular. Truth is migration is part of civilization, people of all faith from these countries have come to India for jobs and economic opportunity. But CAA assumes that all Hindus are victims and all Muslims are infiltrators. This blanket approach is unconstitutional. When we don’t know our own history and believe in fantasy. The curse of the privileged sheeplians. Ignorance is more noxious.

Argument 10: ” If you could plan nonviolent protests without damage to property of private and public ownership, your peace march will become a landmark in history.”

Point: No violence in Mumbai
No violence in Punjab
No violence in MP, Rajasthan
Violence in UP, Delhi, Karnataka, (BJP controlled Police)
And other states which have elections near.

So Who is inciting violence?

Moreover, in many peaceful protests, police has created ruckus without reason. Tear gas has been used without any reason. People have been detained Inspite of peaceful protest. Fake skull cap people have created ruckus as well. Even there have been cases of fraud police and policemen claiming themselves as police and beating people without any license. The situation is so deplorable that the Indian army has to step in against its own people. The army is trying to safeguard the country against the civilians. Are we serious?

Individuals who make their abodes in vitreous edifices would be advised to refrain from catapulting perilous projectiles.

Argument 11: “Traffic jams happen due to protest.”

Point: I don’t understand how can you guys ‘still’ decide to remain apolitical sheeplians, even after all this ruckus. This is question of our lives, your lives , my life. Our democracy is at a brutal stake than never before. You guys will rot to hell, soon. Your life has no value. Mankind will be enslaved until there is mental grandeur enough to allow each man to have his thought and say!
This government has become frantic in it’s drunken dilemma of half baked nationalism amidst it’s sad masochism. Mr.modi will have to pay a price for this destruction. Democracy and constitution is under threat and you are bothering about a mere traffic jam? Cowards are those who are silent on things that matter. And seriously, I mean, as we are about to enter 2020, perhaps the new era of twenties.
It’s time we decide do we STILL choose to exhibit ‘apolitical’ ideas as a semblance to shed our ignorance, or do we wish to see our India get destroyed being conceived with mankind’s despair proxy?
Look before you leap.
People who have died in lynchings have suffered more than you in a traffic jam. Your suffering is not even a suffering. Democracy is at stake. This is a battle of survival. Nobody is safe. It is a war… and war it shall be.
But never in history has a fascist survived a war against people. They won’t survive it either. There is nothing called a humane warfare yet this is a warfare between the idea of love and hatred. This dispute is born of fundamentalism and not of religion. It’s roots are socio-political conditions by fascists.

Argument 12: “It’s impossible to be united in diversity. We are different. We have different ideas and lifestyles. One singular idea, is peaceful and tolerant”

Point: You can never run a country like India, which is diverse in nature, by refusing to accept ideas that are different than yours. You simply cannot impose this one man outlook upon a billion imaginations of us.
CAB+NRC gibberish will be the reason behind this government’s downfall. Just like how sitting in a mandir can’t make you a hindu, a mere document also can’t make you an patriotic Indian. If u end up hating your own people in the name of national interest&religion then that’s not patriotism.That’s what the hindutva ideology dosen’t wants to realize.The hindutva nationalism is basically the power of hunger tempered by self deception,as a result of collective narcissism. Just because secular was added in 1976 in the preamble, that doesn’t means it’s essence should be eroded. Contradictions of secularism’s significance can’t be endured as an element of democratic dissent in a republic or be valued in the garb of freedom of speech & liberty of thought. Ubroken completeness amidst heterogeneous existence,deserves default macrocosm with vested acceptance.

Argument 13: ” Citizenship Bill will not adversely affect Assam; will help refugees facing religious persecution.”

Point : This is not a matter of refugee prevention but religious prejudice.
What do you think immigrants will leave? No.
In fact, India is and will continue to get divided on the lines of religion.The govt doesn’t lacks options or ideas to do so.This is just a better idea out of the worst.

Argument 14: “Protests will serve nothing. Let’s have caa instead.“

Point: I am generally not optimistic about the condition of our country, however, HOPE is the only thing that we have, rather we can have. While these bigots are a powerful electron of democratic disgrace, it lies on us whether we decide to subscribe to this right wing ideology. Silence is never an option. We might not change anything but we must not remain silent. If even after all these, you still remain a sheeplian and don’t convert yourself to a civilian who is genuinely concerned about the affairs of the state and ask questions then your existence is redundant oasis.
Speak up man! If not now , then when? Don’t be silent.
If injustice is the new law, then resistance is our duty. Your pseudo-nationalism is not above our democratic standards. The govt which is afraid of its students who are the next generation makers, have no rights to label us as anti nationals. We won’t remain silent.

To end this article, let’s do a pledge to ourselves :

“WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA,
having solemnly resolved to constitute India
into a SOVEREIGN, SOCIALIST, SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC,
do hereby, refuse to adopt, enact and give to ourselves the Citizenship Amendment Act.”

Today in this blog of mine, I wish to address some questions that are really the need of the hour to ask and certain things, that the society needs to hear. Rather the sheeplians need to listen.

You must have heard that Priyanka Reddy, a doctor, her car broke down in midnight, she called up her sister, and the next day she was found burned to death and was raped too. How did you feel hearing this news? Angry ? Come on man, this is normal. This is New India, isn’t? 27? Young lad? Well, let me remind you one day old sleeping babies are also raped in our country. And guess what? By their family members even! Yes that includes a father as well!

I mean, I am the last person to be shocked by the Dr.Priyanka Reddy case. In this country, statues are being worshipped with bright sarees and ornaments and in other hand women are being victims of the lust of cannibals. Rape & other masculinity attitudes have become a immortal recreation.

Those bigots who are playing communal politics over the Dr. Priyanka Reddy case, you all deserve to rot in hell. You guys are fundamentally insane. No wonder, India is heading towards a dystopian panorama where rape is recreation enjoyed by cannibals. No way can this country develop.

It is the naked truth of our country that it’s actually a curse to be born as girl. A women’s body is neither sacred nor holy. It’s a graveyard of years of societal convections like tombstones inscribed with centuries of shame. Priyanka Reddy is a reminder to this blind and dumb nation.

The fact of the matter is that, daughters in India were never safe but the normalization of rape as a recreation was this government’s gift to India’s daughters. We must acknowledge that before our nation gets even more destroyed in the midst of already driven fascism.

We Indians have become, lazy , timid and meek towards the issue of rape. The amount of time we spending behind the task of hiding our ignorance, had that much desire, effort, energy and time was spent behind the women of this nation, India would be far more safer today.

Rape is even rarely talked amongst ourselves, in the pretext of it’s sensitivity. We really need to annihilate this taboo and start speaking about issues such as rape, misogyny, stereotypes, racism, gender discrimination which every single women in this nation is subjected to.

Today in India unfortunately women empowerment SLOGANS has become equivalent to nationalism like the naked passion of self love for the nation in it’s drunken delirium of greed is dancing to the clash of steel and the howling verses of vengeance.

The struggle of leading the life of a girl here, is, was and will be difficult. I can rest assure you, no girl in India wants to be reborn as a female next birth. It’s no longer about weakness stereotypes but about the psychology behind the normalization of social attitude.

We women are losing our hopes towards this nation and society. The pride of being a women is being faded. We women are feeling it’s our curse upon us to be born as a female. Our expectations are being betrayed everyday. India dosen’t deserves to dream about being a superpower.

I can’t even see a desire, forget about effort. Even the desire, to make India safe for its women has faded. We have got exceptionally desentisized with this topic because we have accepted that it’s normal. No it is not. India is seriously indebted to curses of women. The desire and effort is to save the rapists and make false godmen out of them.

The situation of women in our nation has worsened than ever before. Politicians seek to make rape immortal and civilians seek to objectify a women as a pair of breast & vagina only. We are residing in illusions, perhaps, in a paradise of foolish persuasions like a virtual world.

Mr. Narendra Modi’s silence over the Priyanka Reddy case is expected. The least a Prime Minister can do is to condemn the incident, if he fails to protect and safeguard the women of this nation.
No wonder, that we have misogynist and women snooper as the Prime Minister.

Recently, there was a protest outside Shadnagar Police Station against the alleged rape and murder of a woman veterinary doctor. This protest was much needed. We are people you people still hunt down.
You cannot guarantee my right to live. My right to life is negotiable. This system is designed to kill us. What happened to Dr Reddy is not accidental. It was and is always a curse to be born as a women.

I wonder, how many women need to die for people to finally acknowledge that there is a problem in the system? How many women need to die for existing? You still think gender is a secondary issue? You still think every thing can be fine by your peaceful candle marches?
No,it can’t.

After i had tweeted about this rape incident, someone had commented, “Hold Radhika, it is not the proper moment to analyze the whole issue and reasons of increasing rape incident. Let the present society handle what it has created. Increasing rape incidents have economic reasons, especially joblessness, poverty, and inequality.” Are we on nuts oh what? Rape isn’t justified. There can be no other reason behind the increase in rape incidents, except for hyper masculinity and rape culture normalization social attitudes. logic makes no sense. The jobless poor people of India aren’t necessarily a deviant cannibals.

I don’t recall a day, when I haven’t came across rape incidents as headlines, be it in a BJP or non-bjp state.
We must pause, and think where our country is heading towards! Do you think a country which has women curses etched to it, can ever develop even in future? No! It can’t.

Why construct temples and worship a female idol, when there is no respect for women and girls in this society? How many more bodies do we wish to see, drowned in their own blood?

It dosen’t matters whether she is minor or adult.
She will now be questioned by the society, what was she wearing, was her bra strap revealing, and etc; Because our perspective is stuck right there in, only to be mistaken for wanting it rather risking it.

These cannibals should be born as a women next birth. Then they will realize how to feels to have a curse inscribed with your gender for years. Because it is a immortal curse to be a women in this society. This system is designed to kill us.

We are a land of customs, traditions, values & religious extroverts! Is this what these conservatives preach?
Is this the mirror which the next generation is going to be subjected to? This is a mirror of shame.
But who cares! We value 9pm religious debates more.

And listen!

Those who say, karate can safeguard women, this is a reminder to you,that kids to become victims of rape and molestation.Even sleeping babies.
Do we need to now have lessons of teaching how to respect girls as a part of academics!?
Shouldn’t it be default?

We are a country of educated illiterates. How many more women are going to be victims of the viscous lust of these cannibals?
The government frequently used soldiers in the borders narrative in the drunken dilemma of nationalism, tell me is this country worth dying for?
Cry my country!

I came across a picture in social media where a child is holding a placard that reads, ” Uncle Please don’t rape me.” India must bang it’s heads in shame. Ouranger must reciprocate to the streets. In our country women don’t go out and protest in the streets, because they don’t want to be mistaken to be attention seekers.
Candle march won’t bring justice.

Nowadays, nothing of this sort shocks me. It is pretty normal in New India to objectify women as the rehabilitation centers for men. Can’t if even call them men. Not even animals, animals are raped too.
These are the worst forms of social cannibals.

Hours after protesting for Hyderabad rape victim, a BJP youth leader booked for alleged sexual harassment. Thousands of women every day are being made the victims of viscous lust of the cannibals of this govt. This is not limited to rape alone, but also the risen toxic masculinity, misogyny and social attitudes. A nation can’t function without it’s women. 😠

One must wonder who taught us to hold candles? Otherwise, we Indians had the culture of doing kurukshetra and Lanka dahan , when the respect of women was violated. उसूलों पे जहाँ आँच आये टकराना ज़रूरी है,
जो ज़िन्दा हों तो फिर ज़िन्दा नज़र आना ज़रूरी है |

This rapists should be paraded nakedly across the streets , their penis should be hanged with their body being upside down a burning fire and then should die. This is how every rapist should be punished. It’s time their lives are made graveyards of shame perhaps, cremated with ignominy dysphoria. 😠 Anyway, these are bodies without identities. Now some might say, Anything like this wish is called sadistic.
Blind rage may be obvious ,but controlling rage is symbol of civility. Rage makes one blind, to demand savagery in punishment. Action is better than mere silence. How many more women need to die for us to acknowledge there is a problem?
And as far as savagery is concerned. They deserve a punishment which is beyond human savagery. This is even less. We need to create fear inside these monsters.

Next some one will say what about human rights? What human rights? Rapists aren’t humans. They are cannibals.

You might say me to control or be calm and cool. Yes,we must be cool and control our rage,only for another women to be raped under daylight be it inside the four walls of her own home/in the savage streets of humanity.
I am not a attention seeker,but a women who is genuinely concerned.
We need to speak up
If not now, then when?

You say women must come up they must speak up! But when they speak up or protest you give a political colour to or say them to cool down and give solutions instead of revolting. We are not on nuts but peanuts, ts.

Exactly, what are we waiting for? How many more do we desire to see being raped?
The government & we as a society have failed to safeguard the daughters of India.
Why isn’t this safety by default and we need to literally protect women? Where are we heading?
Justice is an utopia.

Should girls now roam around with guns tied around their waists?
Seems like. Is this the ideal image a country should have? Do we want the next generation also to feel that it’s a curse to be as a female? Because every women at some point of her lifetime has faced violence.

Now some may say the Prime Minister is not responsible, state law and order is responsible. Yeah! Right!
It can’t be the responsibility of a deviant to safeguard the women of this nation, neither can it be the responsibility of a taddipar! And women are anyway products, so it can’t be a social responsibility either.
True, well said.

Wht else can be expected in a nation where marital rape is legal&most rape cases are unregistered?Marriages in India are barter system,where a women is basically sold in the market of patriarchy.Arranged ones are dealt like business transaction by preparing balance sheet &trading accounts.

Whether we as a nation and society, accept or not, every single women has been the victim of this social cannibalism , eventually it has been indebted with curses of women. No way can a country desire to progress by the curses of women. Every single moment, every single day a women is objectified as a product, there is no way we can be a five trillion dollars economy keeping aside the economic possiblities. Women need to speak up for themselves, but women are the biggest enemies of women themselves. We need genuine women not crazy feminists intoxicated with hatred for men who are nothing more than mere attention seekers. However it’s difficult to get genuine women, as they are trained to be silent all their lives. They know that nobody will believe them . And they will be framed as attention seekers, which they originally aren’t. They suffer from insecurities of disbelievement , and these women have no faith on the institutions of justice, to them judiciary is a just a circus. Feminists have caused more damage than their pseudo intention of empowering women. And that’s not limited to manhood alone , but womenhood as well.

A change still can happen if more men start speaking for women, trust me we women are tired of speaking for ourselves only to be mistakenly labelled as a suppossed feminist or attention seeker, when in reality most of us are not. Speaking on women issues in india, gives men the opportunity to do whataboutism about their issues and the central issue gets distracted. It’s not a all men thing, I know, trust me we do but the quantity of men a women can trust are only a few. Actually, pseudo-feminism has spoiled and distracted Indian women’s narrative, adding a disadvantage to the outlook about men, because in India a strong women is ironically considered a feminist or a slut who deviates from the suppossed norms of femininity. Feminism is not about annihilating ideas that are different than yours on womanhood but embracing prideness of your gender individually. But in modern feminism in India this conceptually wrong noesis is breeding blindness like an artificial stimulant with its first effect being heightening of conciousness and then with increasing dose it gets muddles and brings a jubliant persuasion that is misleading. Frankly, we are going its leading to a paradise of assumed reverberant impressions about empowerment but thats not what empowerment is. A feminist’s fight isn’t just against the patriarchy; it’s against all systems of oppression and even my own privilege. Let us think critically about the systems we rely on as a society, and realise the full spectrum of womanhood in its various hues. We must understand that understand that different kinds of oppression are interlinked, and that one can’t liberate only one group without the others. It means acknowledging kyriarchy and intersectionality—the fact that along different axes, we’re all both oppressed and oppressors, privileged and disprivileged. What we call feminism in India today is actually not feminism it’s actually complete decimation of man’s authority towards gender by the perception that it’s a normal attitude of man to be sexist and a women to be first even in despicable situations. The direction the 21st century is currently heading to is not of reconstruction of ideology but an infliction like modern nationalism in it’s outlook. Moreover, due to hyper masculinity the remainder of it’s is getting ravaged which is due to the fact that indifferences are not being respected but again intolerance is not synonym of weakness.

We don’t even accept that there is a problem, we are so much engrossed into the glorification of our country in the drunken dilemma of nationalism. Let me tell you your pseudo-nationalism won’t survive without women. We don’t talk about rape due to its sensitive magnitude amongst ourselves. So if we don’t accept, talk and further discuss with dissent included, how do we expect to have a solution to rapes happening in our country. How? Or are do we desire to make rape immortal and head towards a dystopian panorama? Seems like.

I would also to state that, Men are not oppressors. Social cannibalism has nothing to do with gender. It’s true that men in our society have the privilege of having the male gender. It’s true that women are doubly subjugated coz they share the female gender. However, those who can commit something as heinous as rape. I can’t call them humans at first place, regardless of gender. Everytime a rape incident makes headline, the society starts saying, “The perps were men , all men are the same.” This needs to be stopped.
Manning up is about compassion, candeur and humility. Rapists don’t fall into the category of humans at first place, forget about being men. It’s not a all men thing I know trust me I do, but the men a women can trust are only a few.

Recently, Telangana Home Minister, Mohd Mahmood Ali on alleged rape & murder case of a woman veterinary doctor said , ” We are saddened by the incident, police is alert & controlling crime. It is unfortunate that she called her sister and not ‘100’, had she called ‘100’ she could have been saved.”

You are an absolute trash, Mr. despicable home minister. You must be born as a women next birth.Then you will realize that how does it feels like to have a curse inscribed with your identity for years and what it means to live in this society. Hope the women in his home are save.

Its a matter of shame for a country that only 1 rapist out of the 4 other executions that have happened, had been hanged. I repeat! Only 1 rapist has been hanged in India till now. That too in 2004 . Why was no rapist hanged between the span of 1947 to 2003 and 2005 to 2019? Why? Nobody has any answers to this question.

For men who are reading this article, one hope you realize the bane of the womb and are reaching out for help, we are all collectively waiting for you.

I would like to end my article by few Hindi lines of mine,

I know there is no point in saying these things, because we are a nation of educated illiterates. But silence is no solution either.
